Hector,
So sorry we flaked on dim sum.
I have to run to pick up Kelsey from school.
Trust rest of your visit in HK was amazing.
Now, I want to put you in touch with Ric who is the American from Chicago traveling as well…he is in Phuket now doing the Thai kickboxing training. Interested in an introduction? Can’t wait to read your thoughts on HK.
Yes, who knew Japan was a 5 hr flight to HK? Then again, I have met Americans who thought Hong Kong was part of Japan.
Lisa (from Discovery Bay)
I’m giving you a little good luck-kharma should be going my way by now. It sounds like a good time all the way around though. Jessi and I think that Hector senior took a very nice photograph in one of your posts. She said you’re cute, but your father was manly and handsome…(-: Something to smile about finally. Be safe!

Hector,
I was sitting at lunch today and someone started talking about you and what you were doing with your father’s journal. So cool. 1. That I know you and 2. That you would do this! When they told me the story, I said, “that’s Hector”!! Hope all goes well. I will keep in touch. Stay safe.

Heckster,
Welcome back! Glad you’re safe, not entirely broke and unarrested.
Can’t wait to read all the posts, and eventually, the book. Brilliant idea. And the photo of your old man in front of that old coup with the German Shepherd? The animal looks exactly like my 5 year Shepherd, Macy. Call when you hit Lost Angels. We’re trying to sell and may not be here much longer.

Hi Hector,
Just wanted to let you know that I still think about you now and again - wish you well in your travels. It is New Years Eve and I reminisce about the times we had in NY @ Openers. From the Irish waters to the Mexican seas I hope we will meet again.
Love,
